85W-140 Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil


Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil is formulated for sliding contacts of hypoid gears in transmissions and final drives. It provides superior Extreme Pressure and anti-wear properties. Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil meets the performance requirements of API GL5. Using Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil improves gear shifting for a smoother ride.


Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil is specially formulated for independently lubricated motorcycle transmissions and final drives to give best performance and wear protection under shock loading normally associated with final drives. The special lubricity additive in Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil reduces sliding wear and friction for exceptionally smooth gear shifting, power delivery and longer lasting gears. Not for use with wet clutches.


APPLICATIONS


• For final drives and transmissions requiring hypoid gear oil

• For manual transmissions specifying an oil in compliance with API GL-5

• For motorcycles experiencing rough, inconsistent and “clunky” shifting
