Castrol Transmax™ DEX/MERC Domestic Multi-Vehicle Transmission Fluid is for use in older Ford and General Motors vehicles.
Advantages
Enhanced friction durability for smooth transmission performance
Meets DEXRON®-IIIH requirements. Also satisfies requirements of DEXRON®, DEXRON®-III, IIE and II. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for DEXRON®-VI. Use Castrol Transmax™ Type F ATF in applications calling for Type F.
Meets MERCON® requirements. May also be used in power steering applications where MERCON® is required. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for MERCON® V or MERCON® SP.
Warranty and Protection Requirements
Exceeds all passenger car and light truck manufacturer’s warranty requirements for vehicles, transmissions or power steering service where a DEXRON®-IIIH or MERCON® type ATF is specified
