Royal Purple HP 2-C (formerly 2-C TCW III) is recommended for use in both pre-mixed and oil injected gasoline 2-cycle engines in outboard motors, motorcycles, jet skis, chain saws, etc. For cold weather oil injected applications, Royal Purple recommends its Snow 2-C.
Royal Purple HP 2-C is a high performance engine oil that and high performance 2-cycle gasoline engines.
HP 2-C has synthetic solvency that keeps spark plugs and exhaust ports clean for maximum engine efficiency. This engine cleanliness combined with the low coefficient of friction of Royal Purple HP 2-C promotes increased horsepower and engine speed. Engines operate with greater combustion efficiency and go longer between overhauls when lubricated with HP 2-C.
OEM Warranties: While HP 2-C meets or exceeds API TC and JASO FD performance requirements, Royal Purple does not hold official OEM-specific licenses. If your dirt bike is brand new and still under factory warranty, using it could technically void the warranty.
Royal Purple makes another variant called XPR 2-C (formerly TCW III Racing), which is strictly for high-performance pre-mix racing and not recommended for oil injectors. Make sure you are using the standard HP 2-C if you rely on an oil-injection system
