It applies to BMW Diesel engines certified from model year 2014 (including 3-cylinder B37 engines, 4-cylinder engines from MY2014, and 6-cylinder engines from MY2013) fitted with a maximum of one turbocharger, and all BMW Gasoline engines from MY2002. This specification is restricted to European Union countries, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein and is not valid for engines with 2 or 3 turbochargers.
