Castrol HD Motor Oil 50 is a premium monograde oil engineered for greater protection against thermal breakdown.
Application:
Castrol Motor Oil HD 50 is suitable for use in vehicles where the manufacturer recommends an API SP or earlier specification SAE 50 Monograde lubricant.
Advantages:
Provides maximum wear protection in warm climates.
Use HD 50 when ambient temperature is above 60°F/ 15°C.
Product Performance Claims
API SP
Storage – All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
