Specifically designed for powerful and recent cars fitted with Gasoline and Diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbo-charged, indirect or direct injection.
Suitable for all types of fuels: leaded or unleaded Gasoline, Ethanol, LPG, Diesel, and biofuels. Compatible for catalytic converters (CAT).

- The ACEA B4 performance requires outstanding detergent/dispersant power and better viscosity increase resistance due to soot produced by Direct Injection Diesel engines (except VW unit injector engines that require a VW 505 01 product).
- The BMW Long Life-01 specification imposes severe constraints on the lubricant, particularly due to the Valvetronic system, covering all BMW engines from 2001 onwards. It also includes all former BMW specifications like BMW LL-98.
- For BMW vehicles outside the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, and Liechtenstein, consult BMW recommendations.
- MOTUL 6100 SYN-Nergy 5W-30 meets all BMW Long Life-01 standards for BMW, MINI, and ROLLS-ROYCE vehicles without exceptions, including models before and after 2019. Until end-2018, MOTUL 8100 X-Cess 5W-40 is also suitable.
- The MERCEDES MB 229.5 standard is more stringent than 229.3, focusing on ageing resistance, oil film resistance (extended drain intervals), detergent/dispersant power (ACEA B4), and fuel economy performance. It applies to all MERCEDES Gasoline engines except AMG (use 5W-40), SLR, and all MERCEDES Diesel engines without DPF.
- RENAULT developed RN0700 and RN0710 standards for oils compatible with severe thermal conditions and modern after-treatment systems.
- RN0700 applies to Naturally Aspirated Gasoline engines (excluding Renault Sport) and RENAULT Diesel cars with 1.5L dCi engines without DPF, less than 100 hp output, and 20,000 km or 1-year oil drain interval.
- RN0710 applies to turbocharged Gasoline engines, Renault Sport models, and Diesel engines without DPF (excluding 1.5L dCi engines without DPF less than 100 hp and 20,000 km or 1-year oil drain interval).
- VW 505 00 and VW 502 00 specifications require exceptional detergent/dispersant power, high oil film resistance, and superior viscosity increase resistance for many VAG (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat) Gasoline and some Diesel engines.
Recommendations:
Follow manufacturers’ recommendations for drain intervals. MOTUL 6100 SYN-nergy 5W-30 can be mixed with synthetic or mineral oils. Always refer to the owner’s manual or handbook before use.
