This 100% Synthetic “Fuel economy” engine oil is specially designed for recent gasoline engines, whether naturally aspirated or turbo-charged, with indirect or direct injection. It features low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity (≥ 2.6 mPa.s).
Suitable for modern gasoline engines requiring viscosity grade 20 and a fuel economy lubricant (API SP-RC, SP, and/or ILSAC GF-6a standards).
Approved by GM-dexos1™ GEN2 for all new GM gasoline engines: BUICK, CADILLAC, CHEVROLET, GMC, OPEL, and VAUXHALL.

- The API SP standard is fully backward compatible with API SN requirements and all previous API standards. API SP-RC “Resource Conserving” specifications are more demanding on energy-saving requirements. They provide outstanding oxidation resistance, better anti-deposit protection, improved engine cleanliness, anti-wear protection, and enhanced cold temperature performance for fuel economy throughout the oil’s lifespan. Compared to API SN and API SN Plus, API SP also offers higher performance and protection against LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) for downsized direct injection turbocharged gasoline engines.
- ILSAC GF-6a standardizes viscosity grade 20 lubricants with stricter requirements, emphasizing fuel economy, extended drain intervals, piston and ring cleanliness, seals compatibility, and reduced phosphorus content for after-treatment systems. It ensures perfect engine protection even with gasoline containing up to 85% Ethanol (E85).
- GM dexos1™ is suitable for all GM Gasoline engines from Model Year 2011 onwards, replacing GM-LL-A-025, GM 6094M, and GM 4718M. It combines stringent requirements from API, ACEA, and ILSAC standards with specific GM requirements for fuel economy benefits and engine durability.
